Red White and the Blues I, II and III, the trilogy of Katrina. Even though so many believed in this country, the smileless faces on each of these drawings tell a different story. The Red White and the Blues series shows women alone, men alone and a child alone; indicative of so many families who were separated from each other and in some instances not brought back together for months. Sold as a group of three, each colored pencil drawing is on 9" x 12" Vellum Bristol Board, with the background water of Katrina in a blue pastel. The piece is framed in white and double matted in black and white. The Giclee Investment is a series of 600 on canvas and arrives unframed. Neither the original or giclees are sold separately.
